Media Center

The Library Learning Commons is the hub of our school. We want it to be a warm and inviting place for students and teachers. We encourage reading by providing a wide variety of material from the fiction, non-fiction, and storybook genres of literature. There is something for everyone!

Our overall purpose is to provide our students with informational materials for both education and pleasure. But we have much more than books. Available for both teachers and students are current periodicals, audiovisual software and equipment, computers, instructional television, etc. The media center is automated with computerized card catalog and circulation. Students can access network programs, the internet and the card catalog directly from their classroom creating an extended media center no longer limited to the confines of the room called the library.
