Behavioral Expectations

At ODE all students show the three ‘R’s: Respectful, Responsible, and Ready.The school uses PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention Support) as a school wide behavior program. Students seen doing the right things and using the three ‘R’s receive stickers for a card we call the ‘R’ card. Once the card is full, students may choose from several rewards. These students have their names read aloud on the school news program. This program is in place to praise positive behavior. It places emphasis on good behavior and gives less attention to unwanted behaviors. The goal is for students to do their very best at all times while learning lifelong skills to be good citizens.
